THE NEW MEMBER'S GUIDE
Welcome to The River! This thread should walk you through how to start on our forum. If you have any questions, please send a message to staff or ask around in the chatbox! You are not required to follow these steps exactly, though I would recommend you read the rules and other information before making a character.
I. Register with whatever name you wish (we recommend your character's name/your alias to make it easy to remember). Then change your display name to your characters full name, e.g. Sarah Marie Jones.
II. Familiarize yourself with the rules.
III. Read through our plot!
IV. Read about gifted humans and vampires, and perhaps decide what character to make - human, gifted human, or vampire!
V. Check the wanted ads and canons to see if there's something you'd like to make.
VI. Fill out your application and post it in the drafting board!
VII. Create/find images for your character - a 150x150 avatar and 230x400 hover image is required.
VIII. Post in the appropriate claims!
